We\u2019re still working out some details, but <a href=\"https:\/\/luma.com\/om-fest\">we\u2019ve got a Luma registration page for the event up<\/a>. Please join on September 29, 2026, Om\u2019s 60th birth anniversary, for an eclectic conference curated by his different communities to celebrate the many facets of <a href=\"https:\/\/om.co\/\">Om<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re just tuning in, <a href=\"https:\/\/ma.tt\/2026\/06\/om-forever\/\">our dearest loved one Om Malik passed away in June<\/a>. This grieving process has been a rough one for me, but it has inspired some positive life changes. I\u2019m traveling with a real camera again! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenrockwell.com\/nikon\/d6.htm\">A Nikon D6<\/a>. I\u2019ve shot tens of thousands of frames on the D-series, so it feels like home, but it also has some nice new features like built-in GPS (I used to use an attachment for that) and USB-C. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve also become very driven to be meticulous. I miss Om\u2019s harsh but often true feedback, but his voice in my head is a good reminder that if you do something, it\u2019s worth doing it well. I\u2019m kinda a hot mess (still blessed! <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude02\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/72x72\/1f602.png\"\/>) so this will be a journey but the progress already has been rewarding. Excellence is a habit.
